Rum

Westerhall Plantation Rum is produced on the island of Granada by the Westerhall Distillery, near St. David's. Unlike most rums, which are produced from molasses, Westerhall Plantation Rum is made from distilled free-run sugar can juice. This juice is distilled in small copper pot stills, like fine brandies and scotches, and then the rum is aged in oak barrels for six years before bottling.

The Williams family , which has owned the Westerhall distillery many generations, continues to operate it as a private company, each member of the family filling a different role in the creation of their treasured product.

Serve Westerhall over ice with a splash of club soda and a twist of lime "Rum Dinger". Very refreshing on a hot summer day!
